Damn, after mine being built on the 25 of October she was shipped out on the 4th of November...
That long of a wait, perhaps for "illuminated door sills"? I would inquire!

Another goodie is the free picture resizer from microsoft. Can resize and picture (small, med, large presets or Custom) from the right-click menu. Great tool. Very clean resizes..
Check this link, it's near the bottom:

Thanks OCBen...MS Paint seemed to work. Here are a few pics...not terribly scenic (but I may have a trip next week
As for my first impressions - This car is much faster that my 3.4 996. The S engine has a ton of low end torque and seems to pull in a very linear fashion. (I have not ventured much over 4,000 RPMs yet as I only have 300 miles.
This is my 3rd Porsche but first Cab...let me say that even at 80 - 90 MPH the Cab has very little wind entering into the cabin (unless, of course, you want it to). The Car is also void of any creaky noises and seems very stiff as well. These were all things I was concerned with when I bought the car, so I figured I’d share.
The all-wheel drive is very nice. I have taken a few spirted corners in sport mode and the car just tracks! A touch of understeer, but not very much at all. Overall, this car handles much better than my 996 - much more stable and seems to track around the turns very predicably.
That’s my two cents...Open top driving is everything I expected and more! I love the night drive with the stars and the heated seats going!
I am hoping to get some scenic pics soon.
Bets wishes,
Oz

Looks great ... those front shots with the top down are so sweet , it is so much better looking with the wider rear OMG !!! On the cab it is easy to see the difference between the C2 and the C4 , The shape reminds me a little of the 89 Speedster .

Were your 996's C4 based or were they C2's?
My biggest fear is that the steering will be as heavy and numb as the 996 C4, but everything I've read thus far says it is pretty close to the feel of the C2.
Please advise oh great one.

I have a 996 C4 Cab that I just bought and I really like it. If it wasn't for the $ I would love to have the 997. The interior leather/finish/electronics are more modern and refined and the body just has those lovely lady lumps....my lumps...my lumps....my lumps, my lumps, my lumps!

Did you ever have any issues with the 996 back end breaking loose or any high speed stability concerns that the 997 improves upon?
