I have the same issue. I'm at 7000 miles as well. I have yet to get rid of it, but I'm going to re-bed the brakes. That should take care of whatever deposit is catching the pad on the revolution.

Most likely a pad deposit, a really small one, but it's catching the pad on it's revolution and causing that squeak.

Is it a creaking or groaning noise coming from low down in the rear of the car?

I am no expert but understand that some owners also have creaking noise and found out that it was from a faulty PASM shock absorber.

Not me, this sound is definitely rotational. You can hear it squeak as the wheel goes around. I think it's the pad sticking to a deposit when the rotor goes 'round.

It gets faster and faster the faster you go, but eventually you go fast enough that you can no longer hear it. The squeak goes away immediately if you apply even the slightest brake pressure.
