Default Cab mechanical issue??

I have had my Cab for a few months now and every once in a while the process of putting down the top does not work like it should. What will happen is after the top is in place and the boot is trying to close over the top it will jam and not finish the last step. What I have to do is raise and lower the top until it finally goes all the way to the end. Am I alone in this or not?? Still love the car.

No problems with my 997 cab roof. I did have problems with the 993 cab roof. I would check to see if a twig or other foreign object got into the mechanicals. Or make an appointment and have it checked out!

No problems with mine so far...if possible, take the car directly to the dealer when it's still in the jamming position.

I haven't had any problems. Your timing is off and they need to look at the synchronization of the motor mechanism. Call your dealer. It isn't right.

Yes, definetly check for foreign objects. Once, on my 996 cab I found that the plastic cap covering the mounting hardware for the removable hardtop had popped off and lodged within the works for the convertible top.

I also have a problem with my roof on my 997S cab. I have leaks on both upper corner side when it rains. Porsche checked it and nothing was wrong they are just replacing the seal.
