Driving Impressions: It definitely has more poop than the regular 997S. The throttle feels close to what the Sport-Chrono feels like in the "Sport" mode, only it's in the "Normal" mode.
My favorite part so far is that if you unplug the sport-exhaust valve control, so the by-pass valve is always open, the car sounds incredible. It sounds much better than even the normal 997S with PSE. It sounds like a race engine with hot cams! I love it!
One small disappointment is that the redline is still the same: 7200 RPM. But it definitely pulls hard all the way. I have about 100 miles on it so far, and trying to take it a little easy for now.

I recently purchased 2007 997 4S with factory built power kit (x51)...the engine looks exactly same as yours. So I want to try the same thing (to unplug) to feel the sound difference. It'd be appreciated if you can give me a bit of details how to unplug it.
Additionally I would assume it doesn't impact on any function & performance except the sound, am I correct ?
Thank you in advance

Andrew,
Welcome to Rennlist. You pulled up a 5 year old thread, so I doubt Ray is still around. Check out this link for unplugging the PSE on a non-X51 engine. Your plug should be in a similar location. ==> Unplug PSE
