I am thinking about replacing the factory one with the stainless steel door entry guards. Does anyone know if the factory door entry guards are screwed down, snapped down or just double taped down? I don't want to break anything when I try to remove them out. Thanks!

 

Knowing the modern day fabrication techniques Porsche is using, its probably just double sided tape. I was dismayed with the velcro they used in the trunk trim. Velcro?

On the 993 they were double sided taped down...it was a messy job de-glue the surface and reinstall. Still, they look great!

 

Where are you getting your stainless door sills? I've looked for 997S sills but haven't found any as of yet.
