I went autocrossing for the first time in the 997 this past weekend and hit a cone. It left a nasty black scuff in the clear bra (better the clear bra than the paint). When I got home, I decided to try some products that I used to use on my previous Boxster plastic rear window. First I used Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Clear Plastic Cleaner. This product removed the black marking left on the bumper. But, there were still grooves in the film. Next I used Meguiar's Clear Plastic Polish...after a little buffing, the scratches/grooves were completely gone! The surface is smooth as new. For normal maintenance I like to use Plexus to keep the clear bra shiny, but for minor scratching, the Meguiar's Mirror Glaze products worked extremely well.
