Default Interesting 997 perspective . . .

Had my car at my friend's shop to do an oil change prior to winter storage. I took some pics. I found the underside of the car to be particularly interesting. I thought I'd post a perspective that I haven't seen on the 997 forum on Rennlist before.

Yeah, the underside looks like it's covered with tiles. I also found it interesting when I saw some 996 jacked up and partial engine disassembled - I can see the camshaft.

Chris - Make sure you polish and wax the underside prior to parking it for the winter.

crazy canuck, that's a beautiful 997. sorry to venture OT but i'm just curious, as a fellow canadian (i'm in montreal, although not a 997 owner) what do you drive in the winter months when your p-car is in storage? did you consider waiting for the carrera 4 so you would be able to enjoy it all year round? i've been considering a 4-seasons sports car, specifically looking at a 996 c4 cab, slightly used audi s4 cab (i know they're very different cars), TT 3.2 cab. just wondering in general what porsche drivers do when faced with snowy months.

thanks,

bl

I noticed this when we did the oil at 2000 miles. Pretty darn slick! Porsche is serious about their aero flow under the car, don't ya thunk??
