BTW, I do have a heat gun your free to use if you have any more wiring to do on your baby. I drive to Severna Park every other weekend and could drop it by if ya ever need it.
I'll also throw in a dinner in there for your time!
Thanks for the offer for the heat gun. But I did what any true Porsche owner would do - I dropped $50 on a new heat gun so I could finish the job on my ride properly. So now I have a great heat gun and miles of different sized tubing on my workbench. All I want to do it go cut wires so I can tube them. (actually, I've always wanted a heat gun because for 20 years I have been utilizing the poor man method - the match and cigaratte lighter - and that always sucked when you accidently burned a little hole in the tubing with the flame, and then needed to cut the shrunk tubing off, cut the wire, reinsert a new tube, resolder the wire, and reburn the tube again....but I digress!!!)
I will do the install for you and take you up on dinner!! There is a Ruth Chris 20 minutes away from my house through the twisties.
What is the "8.5 mls" if there are 7 miles on the car?
Good observation. I think there was a discussion on this earlier. The 8.5 is the trip counter and 7 is the odometer. I thought someone said that at some point during testing at the factory, the odometer is reset to zero (or may begin at a negative mileage).

I was expecting at least 15-20 miles at delivery and was surprised that there were only 7. I do like the mileage consistency between our cars though!
Mine came with Pirelli PZeros. I have always liked them as their dry grip is very good but they tend to wear out pretty quickly compared to the Pilots. Did yours come with Michelins? That will probably be my replacement so that I can compare.

Arrgh...fine...I'll put the lighter away and get a heat gun. Dammit 1080i!

Michelin PS2s on mine. Very comfy ride from what I can tell in one day. Of course that's probably the PASM. I'm looking forward to some rain driving.
Congrats on your new ride! It looks great. Enjoy it every day!
Thanks again for giving me the heads up on finding my car at Stevens Creek.
Say hi to Tom the next time you see him.
Thanks guys, you've settled my nerves.
Just put my order in for a C4S and was worried about the colour, GT Silver.
Also looked at Artic and Seal but wanted something different (-ish, it's still Silver!!).
Tnunnery, cool car, almost exactly the same spec I'm going for.
Your pics to convinced me that GT is worth the extra, hope your having the time of your life with it.
Thanks MBW. The car is all I could have hoped for and I am very happy with the specs. You will also love the GT Silver, I'm sure of it. Post some pics of your C4S when she arrives!
Yes, it does seem like ages ago! I'm glad those pics are still helpful for folks on the fence about colors. Keep me posted about your order. I'll be there to take pics while you are busy drooling and staring in disbelief that you are seeing your new beauty in person!
