And if you have to ask... well... that's the point.

dweiser,
Are you wondering what the "Therefore I am" is referring to on the plate? If it was on a Porsche, maybe the owner was trying to say, "I drive a Porsche, therefore I am." - a play on the familiar quote of Rene Descartes, "I think, therefore I am", which is sometimes seen quoted in Latin, "Cogito, Ergo Sum."
There's a writer for an automobile magazine (maybe it's Automobile) that headlines his column "Cogito, Ergo Zoom" ... or something like that. Maybe you've seen it. I think he's trying to say "I think, therefore I speed" which some may question whether or not he really is thinking. ... Oh well.

It is Automobile that uses "Cogito, Ergo Zoom." The official translation was "I think, therefore I go fast." They also did a shirt with that logo on it when they launched the magazine.

I came up with THR4 IAM last night. I'm keeping a list for when my P-car arrives in November. It's become a bit of an obsession (both the waiting and the plate ideas). I like RECLUSE because I am one (HERMIT is taken) but RECLUSE seemed silly in a 997 Carrera Cab!
The ??????? were as in, so, what do you think of my idea???
And if you live in NC you're not allowed to get this one, it's mine!
Oh, old Philosophy major here.
