What colour is this Carrera S???
I'm about to finalise the specification on my C4S for October build (to replace my current "S") - and I really like the (special) colour of this car which was recently at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (in the UK).
Does anyone know the official name (or code) of the colour?
Thanks!

Yeah, thats the Pure Orange S that was at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year.
It is a flat colour - ie non metallic.
Very eye catching.
Here's some shots I took of the same car >>

Thanks Ronnie !
Looks good!
Going to order mine with the Aerokit and the Sport Design wheels (dont care for the painted ones much).
Hopefully will look even better!

Actually Orange is a classic 911 colour!
Think of the late 60's through to mid 70's - most of the RS cars were White, Orange, Signal Green, Yellow with the odd red one thrown in.
Lapis Blue, Seal gery et al are relativley more modern colours.

I agree with you on the painted wheels. I have never liked painted wheels and I think the car would look better with the Sport Design wheels. Cheerio!

It reminds me of the orange used on the Gulf Oil Racing Porsches. Although, I must admit I think the orange looked better when accenting blue rather than all by itself.

That is absolutely, without any reservations, the most stunning 997 I've ever laid my eyes on.
In fact, this is SO exceedingly striking that I've went for a dive in google and got me around 8 pictures of this very car, all from Goodwood.
When I have a 997 (oh, that will happen!), I'll have it exactly like this. Or at least, in one of the classic 911 racing colors (white/gulf blue/gulf orange/pure orange).
Stunning, you are a very lucky and tasteful man, dealmaker. I hope that you'll get a nice camera along with it for posting the arrival pictures when it's in
Congrats again.

Congrats. I think Pure Orange looks awesome. I think sports cars should look sporty, and not be the same colors as S class Mercedes. Hard to find dealers though that stock anything other than silver, grey, or black. I plan on ordering my next car to replace my stodgy seal grey 996, and pure Orange will definitely be on my list to consider.
