I beg to differ! Have you ever seen baby sh*t after the baby has eaten creamed carrots? THAT is the same color as U.S. OEM side markers!

Not only are the amber side indictors an eyesore but those extra rear bumpers
on US spec cars are even worse....

And what about that US spec suspension as well....

Then why doesn't Porsche ship US-bound Porsche's with clear side markers?

They do. US DOT changes 'em at port.

When you take off the amber lenses, are the bulbs amber also? Or, do you need to replace the bulbs and the lenses?

That's interesting. The lady I talked to who works at Ruznak Porsche in Westlake Village (and who convinced me to switch to clear lights) said that her 997 had the amber lights in Germany when she took the European Delivery option.

Default DOt

I do not beleive DOT changes them as I looked today at my 330cic and it had clear markers. Until i started going on these boards, I would have been happy with the amber. Now you people make me crazy. I called Suncoast Porsche, spoke to a great guy, 29.95 had them in 2 days. for 30 bucks go with the flow
