What sport cars have you owned before your 997s?

The Carrera is my first real sports car. Before that it was all Trans Am’s (six, half of them ‘79's) and front drive Hondas. I miss the big (455+ CI) V8's. 
I do not miss the live rear axles.

well my wife is the one with the 997S cab, but she had a C4s cab prior to...
The 997S is twice as good to drive and much better to look at.
but for the record, the sports cars in the stable now consist of 1 Ferrari 1 Lamborghini (348 speciale and a Diablo roadster) along side her Porsche - then right behind, the '04 E55.
past sports cars:
360 spider - 2003/2005 ----> replaced with diablo
911 turbo 3.6 (964) - 1996/2000
328 GTS - 1991/1993 ---> replaced with 348 speciale
911 turbo 3.0 (930) -1991/1996
