Lingenfelter powered Vette 440 bhp / 410 fpt with at least 20 additional major mods. A rocket straight into orbit... re-entry was fun, too.
A completely un-modified '04 M3 6-spd w/ everything but SMG and NAV built to order. 100 more ft. lbs. torque and it would be EPIC.

1968 Jaguar XKE 2+2, 4.2L, Tan, manual trans., no A/C, 3 SU carburetors, headers, Abarth exhaust, factory chrome 72-spoke knock-off wire wheels.
1973 MGB, Red, biggest automotive mistake of my life (1975 Audi LS100 was 2nd biggest mistake)
1973 Jaguar XKE V-12 Coupe, light blue
1974 Porsche 914 2.0L, Zambesi Green
1976 Datsun 280Z, Red
1979 Alfa-Romeo 2000 Spider, Silver, a fun car with the polar opposite of a short shifter.
1972 Porsche 911T Targa, Black, rebuilt engine to 2.7L with Weber carburetors
1995 Porsche 993 Coupe, Polar Silver
1995 Porsche 993 Carrera 4 Coupe, Arctic Silver
2000 Porsche 996 Carrera 4 Coupe, Arctic Silver
Now have 2005 Porsche Carrera 997S Coupe, Seal Grey - Easily the best of the lot!

I'd have to put my 73ish Audi LS100 in first place as the single, worst POS car I have ever owned in my life. My 60's MGB probably is in second place.

I also had a 1974 Jaguar XJ6L that had a fuel pump go while on the highway at 11:30 at night in Long Island with the temperature about 90 degrees. From my MGB experience I knew when I bought the car that there was a very good reason Jaguar installed two separate fuel tanks with two separate Lucas fuel pumps and a change-over switch on the dash. Sure enough at 65 MPH the fuel pump quit, the engine quit and everthing went dark. Pretty scary with two small kids and a wife on board. Fortunately, pressing the button on the dash got the engine re-started. I white-knuckled my way home for the next two hours.

Lots of crappy ones since 1968. I got my first Porsche in 1996 (a 993 C4 cab). It was lots of fun until the rednecks forced me to get rid of it.
Now I am "older" and have a 997 coupe (I like the quiet).

'05 C6 Corvette - For Sale, yes it's a "bargain" for the money, if that's all you want
'04 E500 Mercedes - Work car, love it (but wanted the E55)
'04 Lexus SC430 - Wife's "sports car", wish I could get the same quality leather in a Porsche
'70 Camaro Z28 - well, I remembered them to be fun to drive in the 70's
'77 Corvette - really forgettable
'74 Pontiac Trans Am - 455 cu in, very last of the muscle cars
'70 Chevelle SS396 - my first car, hand me down from my brother - wish I still had that one!
Plus lots of other cars, pickups and SUV's not worth mentioning

None for me!! This is my first sports car. I figured I should get it before the wife and kids come along; be the young guy in one instead of the old guy (not that there is anything wrong with that).
