Yep! Me, too.

Lingenfelter powered Vette 440 bhp / 410 fpt with at least 20 additional major mods. A rocket straight into orbit... re-entry was fun, too.

A completely un-modified '04 M3 6-spd w/ everything but SMG and NAV built to order. 100 more ft. lbs. torque and it would be EPIC.

I'd have to put my 73ish Audi LS100 in first place as the single, worst POS car I have ever owned in my life. My 60's MGB probably is in second place.

I could only take the MGB for 10 months. Coming from an XKE had something to do with the bad feeling of the MGB. I had the Lucas fuel pump quit at about the 5 month mark. No warning. I drove to a store and parked. Came out and the car would NOT start. Dead fuel pump. I was young and short of cash and stupidly traded the XKE with a blown clutch in on the new MGB. The repair required way more cash than using the XKE as the down payment on the MGB, which required zero cash. I had bought the XKE from the same dealer 2-1/2 years earlier. When I bought it, it had 18,000 miles on it and was 18 months old. New sticker price was around $6,600 in 1968. I paid $3,400 in 1970. Now that is depreciation!

I also had a 1974 Jaguar XJ6L that had a fuel pump go while on the highway at 11:30 at night in Long Island with the temperature about 90 degrees. From my MGB experience I knew when I bought the car that there was a very good reason Jaguar installed two separate fuel tanks with two separate Lucas fuel pumps and a change-over switch on the dash. Sure enough at 65 MPH the fuel pump quit, the engine quit and everthing went dark. Pretty scary with two small kids and a wife on board. Fortunately, pressing the button on the dash got the engine re-started. I white-knuckled my way home for the next two hours.

Lots of crappy ones since 1968. I got my first Porsche in 1996 (a 993 C4 cab). It was lots of fun until the rednecks forced me to get rid of it.

Now I am "older" and have a 997 coupe (I like the quiet).

05 Lotus Elise - Nightfall Blue/Biscuit - road legal go-cart in my garage!

96 993C4S - Black/Beige - Should have kept this one, they just don't depreciate!
02? BMWZ3 - Cosmo Black/black - The most chasis flex I ever felt in a car!
99 996C2 - Silver/black - Never had one problem with that car -traded in on the Z3

You can really tell from the lists that many of us are car connoisseurs.

I'm in my 20s so have only had one previous which was BMW Z3 2.8.

None for me!! This is my first sports car. I figured I should get it before the wife and kids come along; be the young guy in one instead of the old guy (not that there is anything wrong with that).
