PDI = Pre Delivery Inspection

Basically, they drive the car around the block, go through a series of tests, engine, braking, streering, etc. Then they sign the car off as being proper and street-legal, they wash it, and voila...it's yours.

As far as the time, my dealer says they can do PDI in 24 hrs. Typically, most dealers that I know take care of the PDI's on the weekends when they have nothing else to do. The techs would much rather get paid working on customer-pay or warranty vs. doing PDI's on company time.

My S was built on the 18th , maybe its on board as well. Given that I am in Palm Beach Gardens, should it enter the US in Miami?
