There's one in every crowd...yes, I actually really like the lobster claws. Maybe it's a New England thing with me.

I ordered my car with the S claws and after the cut off date started to second guess my decision. I think I am leaning toward the classics though, they do look tougher, I have to agree. And they look like they will be much easier to keep clean. I hope my dealer will work with me if I want to change at time of delivery.
PS, My car was built last week also.

I have a 997 non s and I put the classics on. I switched out the 18" for the 19" it looks awesome. When I showed the car to my wife she said the only thing she didn't like was the wheels. She insisted I get the 19" classics. That was fine with me.

My 997S was pre-ordered by my dealership back in Sept 04 and I took it with the following options: Arctic Silver/Stone Gray int/ Full Leather/ Sport Chrono/ Heated Seats/ Bose/ and Classics. The car arrived in November and I would of ordered it exactly the same with the exception of the addition of auto dimming rear view mirrors and Nav. Thinking back now, I probably would not have ordered the Classic Rims but my girlfriend convinced me to not swap them out for the standard S rims when my car arrived so I went along with her wish and thank her for it to this day. I still like the standard S rims too (somewhat similiar to my 97 C5 Vette rims) but not enough to switch over from the Classics. To date I have added: Nav/ short shifter/ and PSE and keep my fingers crossed that the auto dim rear view mirror can be upgraded like on the 996.

If you end up changing the wheels, does this mean your 911 will be 'declawed.'
Sorry, I can't resist a cat pun.

Coochas, we need to get to the bottom of your ***** cat obsession. Or is it that it has nothing to do with cats at all??? So far we know you have your cell phone ring tone set to the Meow Mix melody -- that's really sick, you know? Let me guess, your wife is the one and only Cat Woman?

No, no, no,...my wife is just a big kitty (actually 5'12" - as she says "women are not six feet"). We're sort of cat nuts/fanatics/crazy - our cats (3 of them) are our children.
Besides,...who else would have a little Hello Kitty peering out the back window of their avatar if I didn't honor them in this way?
BTW, just to add to the insanity, here is a pic of the back of my Audi:

I know this is way off topic and maybe way out of line, but wow, lucky for you your wife has model like height (I have a fondness for tall women ...they usually have long legs)

I'm a cat person myself (though I don't have any at the moment), but I really get a kick out of the way you're not at all bashful about flaunting your interest in cats. Nice avatar too, by the way. Very creative and very unique.

The classics are patterned after the Carrera GT wheels (according to Porsche). Once you see the resemblance, then the classics look even better. Lobster forks! Thats a good one.

Classics all the way. . . although I am tempted by those Champions and especially the BBS LMs.

1Gunner, sweet ride. I'll look for you around town. I have 4400km on my car and it gets better every day.
