Trust me, it's not all about the money.. My wife has already told me to go ahead (keep) and use the 91 964 for the track.. I spent a lot of time looking at 993's at the Glen and was parked next to a red 993 TT (which he RUNS) the whole time I was there. There is something about the 993 that grabs me and always has. I LOVE the yellow car on the cover of "Original Porsche".. Riding in a prepped car was the other 1/2 of the equation. Raw, loud, and fast. I did the math and it worked well. This whole thing is hypothetical, EXACTLY the right deal would have to present itself.

I think what i'm most impressed with is that you took the time to think of a solution for me, and for that I thank you. This forum is really a great place sometimes!

Gary;
I've put my 993 up for sale so I could move into a 997S. Is yours a S? You may be interested in the 993. Its a 1997 S Silver/ Grey about 49K miles well maintained with a GT2 F/R from Cargraphics. It is listed on Autotrader.com and roadfly.com. Give a look and let me know if interested. If your Red is a S I'd be interested in talking trade!!!!

Optios are:
Black mats w/lettering

Are you the original owner of the 993? When was the last major service (or when is it due)? All records from new? I sent you a PM..

Default Huh?!?

"Even if I go that route I will be back in the 997 fold as soon as they get their DSC transmission ironed out... "

Gary --- What's exactly does that mean? Is there an issue with the current 997 tranny? Do explain.....
