Default Please post black Pics

Could someone please post a picture of their 997 in basic black. Side profiles if possible. I've been torn between black, red or midnight blue. After a visit to the Porsche factory two weeks ago the wife now says black. Can't find any good pictures of of black to compare all side by side. Thanks.

Wow! Thats the ticket. So much for the dark colors hiding the details of the shape. Thanks guys. My wife made the comment that the 997 in black looks like some kind of animal ready to pounce. Gotta be those muscular haunces in the rear.

Merbesfield, which wheels are those? They look especially good on black?

Thanks again.

Is the bottom photo Seal Grey? Almost looks like the GT Silver in the Change Thread. What wheels are you getting with the Seal Grey you ordered?

Thanks.

Merbesfield,

May have just answered my own question. Just went on the Porsche Car configurer and didn't find them as an option. After further review they look like GT3 wheels. Nice!

Here's another picture for you. Black is a lot of work to keep clean, but nothing looks better than black when its clean and waxed. Wheels are Champion RG5 monolites.

The Seal Grey is a nice color, too. Does it have a slight bluish cast?

Black is the best looking color, but the trade off might be time spent washing the mother f'er!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the first pic, those are Champion wheels. But you are right they almost look like an OEM GT3 wheel. Black does look great, when clean.

Thanks all. Black is truly beautiful. Know it's a pain to keep clean after having had black cars before, but it's hard to beat for looks when clean.
