Default Thicker Leather Sports Steering Wheel

Does anyone here have this option? If so would you please post a picture of it? I have never seen the wheel and the PNA site looks the same between both sport wheels.

Thanks.

I have seen the thicker wheel, and couldn't see the different between the standard, other than two small bumps/handles on the 10 to 2 positions.

The standard sport wheel on the S has the bumps, but I think there is still a thicker wheel than this available?

It was indeed an S, however, I was told it was the thicker wheel. Even stronger, the owner of that car paid for a thicker wheel and didn't like the fact that it almost looked like my standard wheel.........

What's "weird?"

The stock S wheel has a slightly SMALLER grip diameter than the non-s. No kidding: the S wheel is more "delicate" than the non-S!

So if the hotter car has a thinner wheel and that makes sense according to Porsche: why are we struggling to get big thick fat wheels in there?

Just a pithy observation; do what makes you happy though.

Hi MMD again, i think you and i must be very similar. seems to me there are a lot of people who just want to buy something b/c porsche offers it. the 997s is awesome as it comes, i have diven several TT's and the 997s's and the 997 is a better car, unless you just want a TT or are going to track the car then the GT's make more sense. Thanks for the replies. Found a picture of one at Pioneer Porsche in San diego, CA. The car is a Silver 997S if you want to check the inventory page. I was unable to post a link here.

This is indeed that same wheel. It is a little bit thicker at the 10 to 2 position.

I would've liked a shot of the fire extinguisher, too. Nicely optioned car.
