Default 2005 997 "S" (low mileage).........

***Attention moderators, I wanted to post this in the classifieds, but there was no category for a 997***

FOR SALE: I decided to sell my Guards Red with black interior 2005 997 "S" b/c I just don't have the time to enjoy it right now. This car only has 75 miles. Upon delivery it was flatbedded to my to my clear bra shop (Detailing Dynamics) where it had clear bra installed on the front bumper, part of hood, rear bumper pieces (not the whole bumper), and headlights; 50% tints were also installed while there. Since then it has only been driven twice to my office which is 3 miles from my home. Currently it is in my garage covered on a lift.

You can view the sticker here. I apologize if it's hard to make out.

The ordered options are:
Sport Chrono Package
Adaptive Sport Seats
Navigation
Porsche Crest in Headrest
Heated Front Seats
Self Dimming Mirrors
Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
Black Mats - Porsche Lettering

I've changed the side markers from the stock yellow to smoke (with stealth bulbs) and also recently purchased the Porsche umbrella. The side markers, umbrella and car cover will be included.

I will be sad to see this car go, but I'd rather see someone enjoy it then it remain sitting on my lift.

Asking price $87,000

Car is located in Long Island, NY
Please email me at paid1234@aol.com for questions.

Here are some pics I just took (6/18/05). Sorry about the clouds.

Cloud, sorry to hijack your thread, but I found a TT X50 I want.
My car is almost a duplicate to yours, but Midnight Blue/ Stone Grey with a painted console and short shifter.
It has 1700 miles and is located in Indiana. I will let it go for $85k
Soon to be in the classifieds.
Good luck with your sale.

how difficult would it be to purchase a car from out of state and ship it? it seems like a big hassle considering at the dealer they take care of everything for you, dmv paperwork and financing all in one spot.

Sticky - (by the way, Sticky WHAT??!??) This is done quite often. I bought my last two cars (2000 Jag S-Type 4 years ago and '04 996 4 months ago) out of state. I live in NC and bought in GA. However, I was close enough to make the 3.5-hour drive, so I didn't need to ship. There was a thread on this forum about 3 - 4 weeks ago that had a lot of info about buying out of state. Do a search for "out of state" or "transport" and you should be able to find it in about 2 minutes.

Bought my last (9) Vipers from Woodhouse Dodge in Nebraska and the 997S from Byers in Ohio and had them delivered to my door in Indiana without any problems.

Transporting the car seems easy enough but is it any different to apply for financing for an out of state car that already has a title?
