Traveled approx. 30 km this morning and found I could not get into reverse after parking. Had to push in neutral to get out of parking spot. Still not able to find reverse, all other gears OK. Emailed service but will have to wait til Monday. I have approx. 3,000 km, only other issue was fault message regarding loose gas cap which went away after an hour.
Has anyone else had this problem with reverse.

 

possibly the cable for the gear shift needs to be replaced or adjusted. it is an easy fix but a pain in the ***, nevertheless.

 

It has happened to others Paul, the shift just needs to be adjusted, its a simple fix.

 

As others are saying, this is usually a shift cable being out of adjustment. There is a bulletin on it, 3414 3/04.
