997 Satellite Radio-Has anyone heard anything?
XM Satellite is available in the Cayenne. Does anyone know anything about when it might be available for the 997? Soon we hope.

OK. Its all good. :-). Here is why:
1. Porsche can't make a sat antenna and that is why there is no sat radio on a 911. Told to me by dealer.
2. Sat radio = luxury = not a sports car necessity = people heckle on this Board. They will tell you that you also want a popcorn maker.

have xm in a 996 and would love to have xm or sirius in 997S that i ordered. it is great for long trips; great for traffic. i had reus install with a hidden antenna and works just fine. different people have different uses for the car. one way or another i will put xm or sirius in the 997S. now heckle.

I too hope that one of the sat radios becomes available for my C4S - but I sort of doubt it. Everybody I know who has sat radio at home or mobile loves it.
1080iAddict, I have it on good authority that the popcorn maker will only be available on turbo models: it seems that they can harness the turbo power like an air popper - so there's a low fat benefit as well.
