Three coats of Zaino Z2. The Zaino products really worked well and easy to use. I would recomend some music, it does take a while

The car looks great. I had read in other threads that not only did it take a long time but that it was hard to use. You said it was easy to use, did you use a buffer, is that what made it easier?

I did by hand i didnt even think of using a buffer. To me ijust a matter of putting it on letting dry and buffing off. I did use the ZFX accelerator and did use the Z6 between all the coats. i cant how much better the shine would have been with my potercable buffer.

Well you did good work, it looks fantastic. It makes that red really shine. I've never tried Zaino because I heard it was such a pain to use. Maybe I'll give it a shot now. I also saw you're thread with the lowered pics. Great job there as well. That is one of my main issues with the car, it just sits to high for my liking. How much did the ride qulity change after lowering it?

I use the PC orbital and the 6" foam pad to apply the Z2. I can do my whole car in about 10 minutes, then hit the areas like inside door handles and mirrors by hand. The PC puts it on as thin and evenly as is possible, much better then I can do by hand. I remove it with a microfiber towel as the sheepshin pad on the PC seems to ball it up a bit. To me its the easiest product to use once your initial prep is done (i.e. washing/stripping, clay bar, Z1 application (1st use only)).. Even did my wheels with Zaino. Only thing is, in my case anyway, if you don't wash it after application is done it is a giant dust magnet..

Yep, she sucked up dust like a Hoover on steroids until I washed her, then all was well. Of course the roads were covered with sand and it was quite dry for a while here, the worst possible conditions.

I've been using Zaino since '98 and find it's easy to use, very little residual dust and simply looks great. Have 4 coats on now and a quick wipe with the car duster and we're ready to go.
