If you have a NON-Bluetooth enabled cellular phone, don't want to (or can't) enable the Porsche built in hands-free, and hate headsets with wires hanging all over... read on. Else move along.. nothing of substance here..
After reading a post about the XM Radio/Parrot Bluetooth install I looked into upgrading my (Cingular) Motorola V400 (non-Bluetooth) to a V551 (Bluetooth). Not happening, have already used up available upgrades until next year, so went online to see what I CAN do. I also was looking for a Jabra headset for my WIFE's new V551 (understand where the upgrades went now..lol?) and found out that they make a Bluetooth adapter that simply plugs into the headset jack of my V400 (or any phone with the plug). It's about the size of a book of matches and will work perfectly with the Jabra BT250V headset. It actually comes in a package deal with the headset from http://www.blueheadsets.com for $129.00 (headset alone is $79.00). .
That's it.. move along.
