Thanks rss997. I'm really feeling good about my choice of wheels. The RS97's are unique and I even started considering them. I had been focusing on modular wheels - a look I generally like, then I almost went for the Ruf's. I dropped by Wheel Enhancement to see if they could receive and install the Ruf's (which they don't carry), started looking again (4th or 5th time I've been there in the last 4 months), found they had the RG5's in stock, and went for it. (This mod was driving me insane and it was time to make a decision so I could move on to the next mod!)

What do you mean I don't need to mod the suspension?! Actually, I'm pretty happy as is, and at least will wait a good while to see what eventually comes out for the S.

Not going to Carlsbad on Sat - rennlist rumble to Paso Robles!

vivid - not lowered, stock 997S. I was going to drop my former 04 Targa with X74 but traded it (hated the stock suspension), but the 997S is already riding pretty low and I'm almost scared to lower it more. The 997S suspension with PASM in sport mode is already pretty tight, so not feelin' a "need" to do more for now.

I was saying not to lower because someone earlier in the post said you need to lower it..It looks insane as is!

I bought some wheels for my 996 at wheelenhancement last year, they are the best!
