You can buy Parrot at www.expansys.us it takes 3 hours to install (properly) should pay around $200 to the installer I believe.

Use "Line Adapter"?

Does this mean you used a "Line Adapter" between the AMP and the speakers?
If so, can you please identify this "line adapter" and from where you obtained it.

I did not use a line adaptor, I cut the cables (spliced is the term).
The Parrot with Bluetooth GPS does not have a display for navigation, you use your pda, notebook etc. to get the GPS info over bluetooth from parrot to display it.

The Porsche 997S wires for the Deep Range Speakers are Green/Green + and Green/Brown - on left door and Violet/Violet + and Violet/Brown - on the right door. I hope this helps.

The Parrot CK3100 is much better than the Motorola IHF1000. It has a small LCD display that shows (on certain phones) cell phone signal strength and the number for incoming calls. My phone is a Motorola V600 (T-Mobile). The Parrot automatically synchronized my cell phone Phonebook with itself. It is capable of voice dialing and a few other voice commands.
I used the Motorola external speaker, although I was assured by the distributor, nicestuffonline.com, that I can splice into the wires for the door speakers without any problem.
As indicated previously on this thread, expansys.com has this device for about $190 plus shipping and has them in stock.
I placed the mic between the visor and the trim over the driver's door. The LCD display I placed on a Lexan bracket that is stuck to the side of the dash trim piece just to the right of the steering wheel. I can see the display just below the right steering wheel spoke. As indicated earlier in this thread, the Parrot control box is stuck to the back of the glove box. You have to love 3M's heavy-duty double-sided tape.

What is the best interior location for mounting the XM antenna inside the car?
I currently have my antenna mounted on the center of the front dash and the reception is poor. Suggestions....

On my 996, the xm antenna is mounted under the front louvers and out of sight. believe or not the reception is very good even though the antenna is tucked out of sight. Don't know whehter the 997s are made of the same material and would be a similarly suitable mounting place.
