You guys are freaking me out with this System Fault thing. I am afraid to wash my car scheduled for September delivery and I only ordered it 4 days ago.

Dear PAG: Please fix this before the 06 model year.

This issue should be a stickie on the Board to consolidate threads to log problems and status of a fix. Has anyone directly contacted PAG yet?

I have not had this happen to my 997 that I bought in August 2004 (Launch Car). I have hand washed and taken it through "Touchless Car Washes" with the high pressure jets shooting in varying directions. Hope that gives you some comfort.

Adam, don't fret. Like Matt E., I have taken my car through torrential (I mean torrential) downpours and numerous car washes. My "SF" has not been triggered. Funny how "SF" becoming infamous like the "CEL" for a 993 or a "RMS" for a 996!!!.

Don't let it bother you, it has 0 effect on my enjoyment of the car. I know there is nothing really "wrong" with it and it will be fixed. Worry more about what the dealer's idiots will do to your car once it arrives..
