Default PCM and the Owners Manual

Just got my 997S this week after ordering in Oct and waiting two weeks for shipment from San Diego. The car is magnificent and with 200 miles so far, not a single problem.

Question: On page 135 of the OM, it states "Refer to the separate operating instructions before putting PCM Into operation" What "separate operating instructions"? And does some detailed explanation of the entire PCM including details on audio, NAV, etc. exist?

Congratulations! Color, spec?

I received 2 manuals. One manual for the car and another one for PCM. The PCM one is actually slightly thicker.

Enjoy the heck out of it!

If you go to Renntech.org and to the Porsche Manuals page, you will be able to download an 83 page manual for PCM2. You may have to join Renntech to access this info.

There are supposed to be two manuals, one for PCM; if you didn't get it, raise hell with your dealer!

Enjoy it! Post pictures!

The RENNTECH.org manual is not the current/correct one for the 997. It is version 2.0 and the 997 is version 2.1. Ask your dealer to get the correct on for the 997 from PCNA, it is easily done.
