Clear side markers
Are the 997 side markers the same as the 996? I am turning in a 996. Can I just swap them?
If I can't, anyone know a good place to order them?

just buy them at a porschedealer
the installation process is the same as the 996, easy with no tools, or a screwdriver at most.

I got mine from suncoastporsche.com for $30. They seem to have the best OEM pricing and if you call them and say you're a PCA member, they'll knock of some more.

It's a matter of taste. The good thing about them is they are *cheap* and take all of 5 minutes to swap out..

We stock them for 996/986 and 997/987. Different parts for 997 vs 996.

The stock yellows look great on a speed yellow car.
If you're focussed on aesthetic details, the stock yellow look annoying and odd on any other color with possible exception of red.
Just order them and make a little holy shrine for them in your home as you wait for the rest of your car to be built/delivered.

Not too spoiled. After all, it was 38 last Saturday morning at Road Atlanta. Hats, gloves, coats, talk of snow! Not to fear, however, we reach 70 by afternoon. It was a close call though.
