Again this is light hearted.

Have any of you been told funny or odd stories about either Sport Chrono or PASM by a dealer/ sales guy to pursuade you to buy/not buy it?

PASM: "It makes the car ride like a Cadillac. You don't want that in a Porsche do you? The standard suspension is a real sports car's suspension." (Trying to get me to buy one of a large number of base 997's sitting on the lot.)

My salesman told me it was just an expensive stop watch and had no other function. That was in June when I ordered the car.

and he is right, however, a stopwatch linked to useful functionalities of the best sportcar under k$100.

Can anyone explain sport chrono, pasm, psm, sport and regular settings and how they interact with each other?

Also interested in sport chrono and tiptronic interactions.

I remember reading in one of the forums about how awesomw that combo is.
