Riotgear and Sobe: I should have amended my previous post include that I believe most if not all rennlisters should consider themselves very lucky!

As a buyer, how much stock do you put into a seller's reasons for selling. I've heard them all, some might even be true.

See ebay item 4516790563
Thanks

What are you smoking? If there is a dealer willing to do that he/she will not be in business long. With the exception of Ferrari, all sport cars suffer a substantial depreciation hit once driven from a dealer showroom. Porsche takes a greater hit because it is priced higher than most sport cars and many more are built than any other sport car in that price range.

Sobe and Nick...dealers buy other dealers' inventory above their own cost all the time. If there's a model they can't keep in stock at MSRP, and a dealer in another part of the country has a surplus, the transaction will be between invoice and MSRP so that both dealers profit.

Porsche dealer did offer to beat our "deal" but seller honored his word.
Thanks

Alan those are new cars. The post indicated that a dealer would pay few thousand dollars below MSRP for a used one. NO way that will happen.
