Default Is your 997 your daily driver?

Just curious as to how many of us 997 drivers drive our 997 cars as a daily driver.

How about mostly daily driver? I put snow tires on the Jag in the winters - so if the weather is really sour it's either that or the wife's SUV. Other than that, I have been using it as my primary vehicle.

Not mine. Not a garage queen either. Just when the weather is nice and I don't have to haul the family around.

Absolutely...At least 5-6 times a week. Over 900 miles in 2 and a half weeks...

Unless there is snow on the ground, it is driven to work everyday.

Ours is my wife's daily driver, except when it snows, and I drive it on weekends, evenings and whenever else I can pry it away from her. We haul our teenage kids around in it.

Every day driver and hate to be without it whenever I have to be in a car! Even take it sometimes with the family instead of the "family hauler" Cayenne S.

Yep, daily drive, 5 - 7 days a week. Don't like the picture of it in the garage. Sun, mist, rain. Never put it under a tree. Have a perfect parking spot at work, something like 10 spots always empty at the back end of the parking lot. 99% of the time nobody next to mine.

I'm waiting for my 997 to go into production, but my two 996's ('99 and '02) were both daily drivers for my wife until last summer when she changed jobs and can now take the subway. She used it every day except when it snowed or the roads were icy. Now we just use it on the weekends to go to the Hamptons, about 300 mi. a week.

My 996 cab is a daily driver. I even park outside every single day, and I don't even have a driveway. When I pick up my new 997 cab in a couple of weeks it will also be a daily driver & will reside on the street outside (with good car cover) until I move in May to a place with a garage.

I drive in rain, hurricanes, whatever, as I only have the one car. My girlfriend tells me I need to buy a fishin' car, but I am spending all of my money on the new 997s instead.

Spring, summer, and fall it is. Winter is Cayenne S season. Everyday is a Porsche day... one way or another.
