Default Turn car on, plume of grey smoke from the exhaust

Is this normal? It's a slight plume and then clears up in 2 seconds.

Had this problem with my 1st Boxster back in 1997. Service tried to tell me it is normal for flat 6 engines.

Not to worry, happened to my 04 Gt3 as well, board and my tech advised me that is pretty normal.
