Default My 997 with tint (pics)

I applied 35% all around (not the windshield). The tint has a very faint blue hue, with matches the faint blue hue of the Atlas Grey.

Wow - looks great. Questions:

1) What brand of film?
2) When you say all-around, you don't mean windshield also do you?
3) How much $$?

Looks great. Now I know what my car looks like without road grime all over it. Almost forgot.

I paid $300 for the tint. Kinda expensive, but I got a decent deal on my wife's car, which was done the same day. Matico makes the tinting film.

The ride height will be reduced soon. I am ordering parts this week.

I am using a Canon 20D Digital SLR. I'm in Northern California.

I hope my car will look like this after the H&R springs are installed. I hope to get a track day in prior to the suspension mod.

hey riotgear -
I have the same camera. I could tell instantly that you were using an SLR from the superior quality of the images...

Your car is beautiful. Nice work!

Stacey - The 20D is an awesome camera. I upgraded from a Rebel Digital.

Be ready for the rough ride with the H&R's...my old 996 was very bumpy with them...I do like to lower ride height look though....

Let me know what you think after installation.

Riot, The 35% is a nice touch, not too dark, Porsches with dark tint dont look good IMO, sharp.

JASCLASS, thanks. I'm not a fan of dark tint either.

Robert, if the car handles better I'll take the harsher ride. The 996 + H&Rs did handle better, right? I'm curious to know if the PSS9 suspension kit is substantially better. If so, I may just wait and get those. I've had coilovers in my last 3 cars.

Riotgear,

Your car looks awesome. It makes me want to dump my spot on the Z06 waiting list.

It did handle like it was on rails...I had an instructor tell me it was the best balanced 996 he had ever driven!
