I just becmae a member of this board and one of the reason I decided to become a memeber was the respect the members have for one another. Recently I see some bashing one another. How can we keep this forum positive?

Disagreeing is ok, but personal attacks are not. In case you haven't already seen it, there's a Rennlist charter which spells out what behaviour is and is not acceptable.

You should visit the Leica forum group [german cameras]: ask any questions you like, the most kindly as you may, and be sure to get bashed by one of the members anyway. Needless to say that if your question is naive and innocent, you'll get a bunch of exacerbate responses because of your ignorance. I got the feeling that they were all professional photographs and were all Cartier-Bresson brothers and sisters. Since that time, I don't go visit them anymore.
Some forums are very selective, but with rennlist, I am very glad to learn a lot from its members and sometimes humbly contribute to the responses.

I deserve a prize for not ripping into some folks on the OT board last night. For some reason, I assumed that if one could afford a Porsche, by default, one would have developed a very high level of resistance to propaganda...
