Talking I'm absolutely amazed...

Unbelievable...stupendous...incredible..I'm not sure there is a superlative to describe the sensation of driving my new 997S. I picked it up last night (Thanks Maciej @ Napleton) and I have to say I am dumbfounded.

Now, hopefully it will remain reliable.

I put the 18" CIII wheels and the new Continental Wintercontact 810 tires on. I will post a review as soon as we get some snow again. But, I am impressed at the dry pavement performance. They aren't "nervous" at all.

I'll post pics as soon as I get the car cleaned and the clear side markers on...

Mine is 6 days old today. I drove it to work all week...Connecticut to New York....and already have 1,000 miles on it. Midnight blue/slate grey. It's a beautiful day in Connecticut today and I'm going out right now to put a few more miles on.......can't wait until I can red line it!

This is what makes a Porsche a Porsche. I have 19,000 miles on my 2004 C4S Cab, I drive it to NYC from Orange County a few times a week and it puts a smile on my face every day.

My 2001 had 51,000 miles on it when I sold it, and it did the same for me.

Best of luck with your Porsche!!
ENJOY.
