White is the best color for that car..........and i own a silver one , I wanted to order a white one , but my dealer talked me out of it, telling me that i would NEVER resale the car. I kick my self still!! NEXT time its white ..oh well AS is nice

If you planned to keep this baby for a good while then you should of bought the White one, but your dealer was not lying to you about resale though. Maybe you can find a pre-owned 997S in white soon, let the first guy take the hit..That'll put a nice smile on your face.

I second your emotion! White is gorgeous. It is ez to maintain, looks great after a wash job, best color for touch ups or matches.
I have seen so many silver P cars now that I cringe at the sight of them. Totally played out and boooooooring. At least P has released some variations on silver. But enough....White is out'a site! Best of luck with your new ride!

White cars are purchased by people who like a clean car and a clean look. Would'nt you think that that type person would choose black.
I had a white 1979 911(loved it), a silver Boxster, a Black Boxster, and now a white 997S. White is harder to keep perfect than black. It is always dirty with black dust, bugs and exhaust stuff on the stern. Black does not show up all of that.........but I love white. It ages well and I have never seen an ugly white 911. I will never understand why a silver car is worth more on the used market that white.
