In addition, the Maserati and AM are/will be much more expensive than the 997S; they are $110k+ cars. If you don't go crazy with leather options and PCCB, a 997S can be mid-80s.

Actually, Alan, I've seen 997S's for $99k MSRP...

Yes, we all have. All initial launch cars were $99k, loaded with almost every option.
