Default 997 vs. 997s

I read the posts on which model is better this, better that. However, is the S that much better than the regular carrera? I mean, in real world driving, how much of that 0.2 sec are we going to miss or that 0.5 sec from 30 to 70mph we going to miss. I'm not trying to justify my decision in getting the reg. over the S. Of course anyone wouldn't mind getting the extra horses and torque but there is always another model that will have more in terms of numbers and bragging power. (try the turbo or gt3 and the discussion will turn to "why the heck did you even get the S...) I'll be enjoying my car thank you.

I think this has been beaten to death. The 997S for the normal person (potentially there are issues if you want to heavily mod the car) is way better and definitly worth the price. Please search the forums before posting stuff like this though ;-)

Hopefully the above link works. I just did a quick search and found the thread.
