Default 997 Invoice Pricing

Was wondering if anyone out there has access to the invoive pricing on the 997 and 997S. Every site I have looked at has the MSRP but no invoice pricing. I appreciate the help! Thanks, Dennis

I believe it is around 60K for the Carerra and 70K for the Carerra S (thats Base Price with no options of course). Think it was NADA or Kelly Blue Book online where I saw it.. Best I could do was 5K off MSRP for a car in the showroom that happened to have exactly what I wanted in it, and that was after talking to 5 different dealers..

I would think you could, with very little arm twisting , get $5k off one of those bloated $99,000 997s.

Be sure to let me know how you do... in CT it seems 2K+/- is all these dealers want to move, and they don't have many cars sitting around.

Gary,

I love your 997S in guards red. What options do you have on the car? Red belts or dials?

Thank you for the compliment! Its pretty basic actually, Leather Sport seats, Porsche mats, Bose High end system, color wheel crests, heated front seats and the Sport Chrono package..

10K seems like a large amount for a dealer to have to make on a car ... I thought those days were over .... I would think a dealer could make more going for volume ..... I guess they just do not have the allocations and can stick to list like they are doing with the cab right now . Supply and demand

That's the reason service is so good on a p-car -- it's not based on volume since these aren't Toyotas. I think p car dealer makes a killing on each car sold since their expenses are spread across less volume. I see the same cars in the lot for over 3 month, especially used ones.

Default Lease Rates

Anybody leased a 997S lately? Curious as to residual values quoted and money rates.

Thanks.

If you check Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) for 2004's, I believe the markups (dealer invoice to MSRP) will be very similar on the 05's. It is about 10K on an 85K MSRP, and a good general guideline is that there is about 10K in a car. The markup is not as much on options as it is on the base.
