Jim, I don't have any shots that make good closeups, even when blown-up and cleaned-up. There are a couple in the most recent shots on my site, such as this one:

I may go for a drive in the mountains on Sunday when I'm back in the States, and will try to remember to take some close-up shots. I think that the small bit of color looks good, and the yellow really stands out and compliments the color of the calipers. It would be interesting to see if the red in the logo would dominate when the calipers are red...

Thanks, Skip. For a while I thought the plain center caps might be better with a black car, but I think the color might pick up the yellow calipers, as you say, so I'm probably going to order some new caps.

Go with Gert! I ordered my clears from him also. Great service as usual. He has indicated that a sport muff will soon be available on his website.

Okay, you got me. What's a "sport muff"? My mind is in the gutter here...

Skip - I think you need to ask that question on jrgordonsenior's thread in the 993 forum!

Hi guys, new to this forum Is anyone with me on this? I like the look of the amber lenses, especially on a black car. Call me a purist for a US version P-car

SrfCity: Nope, sorry. Your car is a beauty (looks pretty much like mine), but I had mine only a few days before putting clear side markers on and, IMO, they look much, much better!

You can get the Clear side markers for 997 at Suncoast Motorsports Porsche at http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv? I have a Silver 997 and the yellow and clear both work well so I alternate them from time to time to get different looks!
