I drove the CGT about 75 miles yesterday and I can't get the grin off my face. It really is in another league from any other car I have ever driven. Simply mind numbing in every respect. Of course I was anticipating it to be special but without even redlining the car yet (break-in period) I can tell you that it has already passed my lofty expectations.
The only minus so far is the termendous amount of attention the car gets. I thought the Stradale was bad. Yesterday, when they were unloading the car out of the truck, the dealerships GM had to come out and tell the employees to get back to work.

The 993TT is an all time favorate for me. Mostly because of its classic air cooled heritage and spectacular looks. Mine is heavily modified yet still extremely durable. Thanks to Andial. In terms of feel, you can really feel the difference in structural rigidity between the 993TT and GT2 or the 997. The AWD also robs the car of the steering feel you find in the RWD cars. It also has more Turbo Lag than the GT2, but ultimately more of a punch in the higher RPM range.
The 997 is a huge improvement in the 911 evolution. I have owned both an earlier 996 C2 and a 996C4 cab and this car is a huge improvement over both of those cars. The steering feel is better, there is more power throughout the rev band with more torque, a more percise shifter, much better quality of material used in the interior and the new PASM system is simply fantastic. The only real complaint I have with it is that you can not lower it with a different suspension due to the PASM.
The M3 is a great everday sports car. I use mine as my daily commuter. The SMG transmission is great fun and the handling is very nuetral. Definitely needs better brakes though. All in all, it's a perfect compromise for a four seat sports sedan that can be used as an everyday car as well as a weekend canyon racer.
The 360CS was the most exciting car I had ever driven up until Tuesday when I picked up my CGT. Never the less, very few cars can much the CS for its visceral attack on the senses. It's very light, has incredible steering feel, phenomenal brakes, a superb F1 gearbox, and an engine sound that is second to none. It's also very easy on the eyes.

by yrs end, bilstein is to offer an RoW retrofit kit to lower pasm equiped cars. i believe sportec and cargraphic both offer their own lowering kit.
