Default First Impressions

Borrowed a 997 S fpr the weekend.

Here are my thoughts.

1. Peter Robinson said in the first road impressions I read that it was 15% better than the 996. That's about right. It isn't a quantum leap, but better suspension, interior, and discernably more powerful.

2. Surprisingly, really suits Tiptronic.

3. My 2.5 year old C4 has covered 14k miles. I would gues that I would get £42/3k in a trade in. The 997S specced as well as my C4 would cost around £72/3k.
Is the 997 worth £30k more? I don't think so.

Rather than spend £30k for effectively the same experience, I think that I will go elsewhere, have a fling - and return to the fold after my break.
