Default Amazing color...

If you are interested in looking at some more pics of this color (but on a 996) check my recent posting in the 996 forum on my new 40th Anniversary, under "As promised pics of new ride..."

Absolutely stunning. Color preferences (in order):

- GT Silver
- Black
- Seal Gray
- Arctic Silver

GT Silver is absolutely stunning. If you don't mind, could you mind Mr. Bonus, could you post a few more pictures...especially since you've captured the angles so well!

Thanks so much Mr. Bonus!! The car is absolutely fabulous.

Question for you: did you ask for the "Carrera S" lettering on the engine to be painted the same color as the rest of the car? Could you have asked for the lettering to be painted black instead? Just wondering whether this is a buyer option, or whether Porsche makes this decision by themselves?

Many thanks!

I bought the car off the dealer lot so I took what they already had. The lettering is actually a slightly lighter silver than the color of the car.

You'd have to ask your dealer if they'd do it for you.

No idea. There was a GT Silver and a Slate Grey that had just come off of the truck. I just checked their inventory and they had another GT Silver slated for delivery.

I checked around the New England area, and one of the dealers also has one in stock so I guess they are also being delivered occassionally. Unfortunately, the one they have is Tiptronic. Can I ask which dealer you coordinated through.

Well Mr. Bonus your pictures have convinced me to change my order from cobalt blue to GT silver. I finanally saw a cobalt blue in person...what a beautiful color. But, it was a bit too "loud" I was going to go with black again, until I saw your pics. Many thanks for posting. Now, hmmm, should I stay with natural grey...
