I believe the rule of thumb with RMS leaks is:
if you haven't had one in the first 40,000 miles... your not going to get it... seems to be a manufacturing defect that shows its ugly head in the first 40,000 miles... otherwise all is well..
if you have replaced RMS early on... the above doesn't apply to you... chances are you'll get it again.
this sucks.
