Thumbs up Waiting for my new 997S

I sold my Boxster on the 14th of August and have been driving a 1994 Mercury Sable station wagon with 165,000 miles. It is such a nice car that it was given to me.

I used to get a thumbs up and "nice ride" in the Boxster at a stop light. Believe it or not I still do but from a different type of citizen. They are called homeless and when I go by a dumpster I get the thumbs up and "nice ride".

Today I parked in a metered space and the bum in downtown St. Pete who hits you up for loose change came to my meter and reached in his pocket and put a quarter in the meter and said that I looked like I could use the help!

Its tough waiting and one has to keep a good attitude.

Cheers

At least you can park it where ever you want to, and people in the nice cars make room for you on the street.

The car is now my Hurricane car! It is wonderful driving a car that it does not matter what happens to it. I will keep it after the new car arrives. It makes too much sense to own it.
