Default AeroKit Bodywork + Paint $$

Hi folks, I know I gotta pay the Porsche tax, but can anyone advise on a realistic cost range for having an OEM aerokit rear decklid, spoiler, and front fascia fitted to the car and painted (gt silver). Including PPF my first quote was $9300! About half of that was body work to fit it, which seems unexpected. The rear decklid is NOS so it needs a little bit of love, but not like 20 hours worth.

Thanks

Post a pic of your car and the items so we can get a visual
My opinion is that price is very high and PPF should never be put on fresh paint
find a new body shop

Seconded on PPF never being applied to fresh paint. It needs at least 30 days to cure (and I've always doubled that time before applying it just to be sure). All parts will need some finessing and body work to fit perfectly and GT Silver can be a difficult color to color match given the sort of pearl effect in the paint, so I'm guessing there's a bit of padding of the cost from the shop for that reason. If you post up in the local forum for your area some other RLers may be able to give you some recs for quality and affordable body shops (as well as those to stay away from).

Good to know about the PPF. It is literally these three parts: 1) brand new front bumper fascia and trim from suncoast. 2) NOS oem porsche deck lid 3) used OEM porsche spoilers. Nothing is damaged. No work on the car itself.

The local Porsche dealer in Scottsdale is a Penske Auto Group subsidiary so they only recommend their own collision center, unfortunately.

Theres a million good shops, unless its one of the chromaflair colors (which it isn't) just go find 3 good recommended shops and get quotes. Im thinking less than half of that is fair. Your local PCA guys know where to go, ask them.
