180 amp alternator
Hi all 997 gurus, am interested if any one has up graded their alternator with the 180 amp unit? If so would the associated wiring need to be beefed up to carry the increased current?

Still, I’d want to be sure the main charge cable and grounds are solid, especially if you’ve added extra electrical accessories. Some people choose to beef up the main cable just for peace of mind but it doesn’t seem mandatory. Curious if anyone here has long term experience running the larger alternator.
