Default RMS Special Tool

Doing a 'clutch job' (DIY) and want to replace the RMS while I have the access to it. I know some have just created a tool out of a PVC pipe to press the new seal in, but wondering if someone has the actual Porsche (or aftermarket) tool to do it that they're willing to sell. Or... is the PVC the only way to go.

Also, looking at clutches, clutch kits and flywheels, there are many choices (Sachs, LUK, Porsche, etc) with diff price points among the brands. Can anyone provide recommendations on what they've used for a daily driver with 'spirited' club drives? NO autocross or track duty clutch needed. Would appreciate your advice.

I have a 3D printed version that I used on my 2008 C4S when I did my clutch. I got it from another Rennlister who printed it for me. I will loan it to you. PM me your contact details.

Thanks! That looks perfect. Do you do the LN engineering suggestion to open the cover to the IMS bearing or leave it alone? Considering….

I recently used the aluminum RMS tool from LN Engineering. Worked great and only $45.
