Default Hardwiring radar detector help needed

Looking for guidance on how to run (snake) wiring from the fuse panel through the a pillar up to the dome light area to hardwire radar detector.

I have found videos on how to remove the panel and carpeting to connect to ignition switched fuse.
I can’t find details on how to go up behind the dashboard area to get to the a pillar.

Anyone have any videos?

Did you check the "How to hardwire your radar detector" DIY under the "Interior" section in the "How Tos" column?

I also ran mine from the fuse box up versus the mirror tap and it's pretty straightforward if you pull the driver's side vent and the A-pillar cover then run it along the front of the headliner.

I used an add-a-circuit tap to the 12V outlet in the passenger side footwell, snaked it up behind the vent and into the triangular channel in the A-pillar, taping it down to prevent it from ratting around, then wrapped the portion going across the headliner in the spiral cut wire loom so it fit the gap at the front of the headliner snugly and that's pretty much it. Be careful pulling the A-pillar cover and you shouldn't have any issues.

I found that I needed to remove the B pillar trim to remove the trim above the door in order to remove the A pillar trim. An air bag was involved. Disconnect the battery and wait half an hour before starting.

2009 C2S 206K miles

It is super easy... just snake a wire above the pedals, use some velcro straps... feed it over the hump behind the center console. Remove the foam plate under the glove box... over to the A pillar. Remove side panel, tuck into A pillar. Along the windshield, there is a wide gap to stuff the wire.

I put a cigarette lighter socket up behind the glove box... just shove it up there... and this allows me to hook up multiple devices... my radar detector and a dash cam.
