PSM/Pasm failure (not battery)
I decided to remove the CD changer from the frunk. I got the fiber cable out easily but could not get the wire harness out. Very tight, no play, couldn’t see clip…. So I decided to cut the 3 wires. Ugh. While tying everything up, in real fup moment, I touched hot wire to my Bose Amp. It started cutting out and then went full no sound. Fried.
Worse. I have PSM, PASM failure and steering sensor connectivity codes that won’t clear through driving routine or scanner. All fuses ok.
PCCM plus all behaving normally except no sound (I can hear some noise from sub).
so….
i have patched back in CD changer. No change.
I have a new to me amp coming from eBay and will install.
assuming that doesn’t fix anything, what would you make your next step? I can eventually take to a pro but mine are closed for holiday and this is my daily and I have lots of driving planned. So rental car…
